Go on board a serious cruising yacht and you will more often than not find one of Jimmy Cornell’s many publications on the reading shelf. Based on over 200.000 miles of experience including three circumnavigations and a recent successful voyage through the north-west passage, Jimmy’s shrewd and practical reflections have done much to pave the way for those seeking to expand their sailing range and explore more ambitious blue-water routes. 

Having organised numerous rallies involving Lanzarote, some of which have explored the entire Canarian archipelago, Jimmy returns to Marina Lanzarote from the 12th – 14th November to present a series of seminars and offer advice to sailors currently visiting the islands.

Join us for a glass of local Lanzarote wine or an island-brewed craft beer on the 12th November at 6pm in Marina Lanzarote for a convivial evening where Jimmy will be signing his books and answering questions on cruising in the Canaries. The event is hosted by Lava Chandlers and Calero Marinas and is open to all.
